food2go For Bryks store owners
September 2026

Bryks is now part of food2go. Your stamp card carries on.

You’ll have had an email from us about this. In short: Bryks is carrying on, under new ownership. Your stamp card, your customers and the Bryk on your counter all keep working as they do now. You don’t need to do anything.

Bryks
food2go
Bryks is now part of food2go Here’s the bit that should put your mind at rest: both Bryks and food2go were built by the same software company, Arkitec. The people who wrote the Bryks app are the people now looking after it. Nobody is learning your product from scratch.

What stays the same

Pretty much everything, for now. Here’s the detail.

Your customers’ stamps Every stamp they’ve earned stays exactly where it is. Nothing gets reset, nothing needs re-adding. A customer three stamps from a free coffee is still three stamps from a free coffee.
The Bryks app and a Bryk

The app and your Bryk Both keep working as they do now. You don’t need new kit and your staff don’t need to learn anything.
Bryk on your counter Scanning stamps as normal
Live
What you pay Same plan, same price. We’ll be in touch later to sort out a new payment plan with you, and there’s nothing scary in it.
£0 extra to pay
Support support@bryks.app still works. It now comes through to the food2go team, and you’ve got a direct number below.
Hi, my Bryk’s stopped scanning this morning.
On it. Ringing you now.
What’s next

An upgrade path, when you’re ready

food2go already runs a full ordering platform for independent food businesses. As a Bryks store you’ll be able to step up to it whenever suits you. Your stamp card comes along and gets a lot cleverer: customers order through your app, and stamps and rewards land on their card automatically. No scanning, no missed stamps. Exciting times, and no pressure — the Bryk keeps working either way.

Your own ordering app Collection and delivery, under your brand, from the same platform that runs your loyalty.
Automatic stamps and rewards Every order stamps the card by itself. Rewards unlock and get redeemed at checkout.
Transactional loyalty Reward what people actually spend, not just how often they visit. Points, tiers and offers you set up yourself.
A proper portal See who your regulars are, who’s dropped off, and what brings people back.
Your wish list

You run the counter. Tell us what the app should do.

You know your customers better than we do. If there’s something the app should do, or something it does that annoys you, we’d genuinely like to hear it. Nothing’s too small and nothing’s too ambitious. Send us your list, however long, and we’ll read every one.

Send your wish list or just reply to the email we sent you
“A free treat on their birthday”
“Nudge regulars we haven’t seen in a while”
“I want to make the card more animated”
“Let me use the back of my loyalty card”
“Can I have my own app?”
Your idea here…
We read every one

Contact us

If you’d rather hear this from a person, that’s fine. Drop us an email and someone on the food2go team will talk you through what’s happening and confirm it’s really us. Or book a call and we’ll ring you.

Is this genuine?

Yes. And you shouldn’t have to take our word for it.

An unexpected email about your business account is exactly the kind of thing a scammer sends, so being suspicious is the right instinct. Bryks Ltd is closing down and food2go has taken the platform on. Both products are written and run by the same developers, Arkitec. Every one of the checks below is something you can do without clicking anything in our email.

1 Type bryks.app into your browser Don’t use our link. Go to the Bryks website the way you always have. The notice about food2go is there, and it links back to this page.
2 Ring the number you already have Call Bryks support on the number in your welcome pack, or email support@bryks.app as you always have. The same team picks up, and they’ll confirm all of this.
3 Look up the developers Search for Arkitec, or go to arkit.ec. Bryks and food2go are both listed as their work, and their contact details are on the site. Ask them directly.
What we will never do Ask for your card or bank details by email. Ask for a password. Send you a link to “verify” a payment. If you get any of that, it isn’t us — forward it to hello@food2go.co.uk.
Arkitec The team behind both platforms

Bryks and food2go were written by the same people. Us.

Arkitec is a software company in Newcastle upon Tyne. We’ve been building and running platforms since 2005, and we wrote both the Bryks app and food2go from the ground up. So this isn’t a stranger taking over a product they’ve never seen. It’s the engineers who built it, keeping it running, and finally giving it the attention it deserves.

Common questions

Do I need to do anything?

No. Carry on as normal. If we ever need something from you, we’ll email and give you plenty of notice.

Will my customers notice?

Not for now. When the new app comes out they’ll be asked to update it, and their stamps come with them.

What about my card design?

It stays as it is. If you fancy a refresh later on, we can do that with you.

Is the price going up?

No. You stay on what you’re paying now. At some point we’ll be in touch to move you onto a food2go payment plan, but that’s a paperwork thing, not a price hike, and we’ll talk it through with you first.
