Scope of this notice
This privacy notice applies when you visit the food2go corporate website, contact us about our business services or submit a Book a Demo enquiry.
This notice does not govern personal information submitted through a restaurant, takeaway, leisure or other hospitality brand’s ordering website or mobile app. Those services display their own privacy information and food2go may process customer information on behalf of the relevant hospitality business.

Information we collect
Information you give us
- Your first name, surname, work email address and telephone number.
- Your company name, number of locations, current POS system and whether you use Deliverect.
- Your preferred demo day and any information included in your requirements or correspondence.
- Records of our communications and any follow-up relating to your enquiry.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as your IP address, browser or device information, requested page, request time and security events.
Our enquiry form is not intended for health information, payment-card details, passwords or other sensitive personal information. Please do not include these in the free-text field.

We do not use the Book a Demo form to add you automatically to unrelated bulk marketing. If we introduce optional marketing communications, we will provide the required choice and a clear way to unsubscribe.
International transfers
Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards, we use an applicable UK adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses, together with appropriate security measures. You can contact us for more information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
How long we keep it
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected:
- Enquiries that do not progress: normally up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact.
- Enquiries that become a customer relationship: relevant business records may be retained for the relationship and generally up to six years afterwards where needed for contracts, accounting or legal claims.
- Technical and security information: according to the operational retention schedules of our hosting and security providers, and only for as long as needed to operate, secure and investigate the service.
We may keep specific information longer where the law requires it, a dispute is ongoing or it is needed to establish or defend legal rights. When information is no longer required, we delete it or render it anonymous.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you the right to:
